Inspired by Colombian painter Noé León’s 1907 painting, “Misionero devorado por un jaguar” (Missionary being eaten by jaguar), this piece came together in the midst of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests where all proceeds were sent to water protectors fighting for justice on the front lines. Border details Canada goose, pine marten, eastern cottontail rabbit, and golden eagle, with maple leaves across the seasons, between the sun and moon.
These are made-to-order, 100% cotton, Jacquard woven, hand finished blankets, made start to finish in the US. Machine wash on gentle (no bleach) and tumble dry on low.
